SLOWPOKE

This is a gorgeous little cafe located in Fitzroy, Melbourne designed by Sasufi. The main feature in the space is a 12 metre long recycled timber wall, that looks like a new product out on the market that is a stacked timber tile. Has anyone seen or used this? All the furniture in the cafe is thrifted and the tabletops are made of recycled timber floorboards. The budget was very tight and I think it is a fantastic solution! Can't wait to get over to Melbourne, there seems to be so much going on over there at the moment.

STRING LOVE

Happy Monday all! I have been putting some thought into the design of our home office and shelving is definitely high on the priority. I want something that looks great, isn't too heavy in apperance and doesn't dominate the room. The 'String' shelving by Nisse Strinning is a very stunning solution. The only problem is choosing the combination and colour - white for me though!

COLOUR BURST

It is a very grey and dreary day today, so I was rather happy to this gorgeous home over at Maurice & King filled with gorgeous pops of colour. The home is of course in Sweden, as if you couldn't tell! Man they are a stylish country! I love all the furniture selections and that car wallpaper is just divine!

ACAPULCO LOVE

Hello everyone! I am back again, it has been awhile since my last post. Also hello to my new followers!

I have been quite busy with a project I am working on and with my little man who has now started crawling and getting into everything! Gone are the days of him lying on his playmat happily playing with a rattle! I have to say though that a crawling baby is probably the cutest thing in the world!

I have managed sometime in between though to check out my favourite blogs and found this beautiful image on emmas designblogg of an Acapulco chair on a gorgeous little balcony. I do love chairs and would have an incredible number if I could and this chair would be on top of my list. It really is a stunning sculptural piece and the various colours it is available in would add a great pop of colour to any interior.

Happy Friday! I have jumped on the pinterest bandwagon! I think it is such a wonderful idea, it certainly saves memory space on my computer and is a great way to make sure the images you find are always credited to the original source. I have only just started so I have only pinned a minimal amount of images but I can see it becoming a growing monster! UMM - GEE SWISS???

Hello everyone, sorry my posting is a bit sporadic at the moment, I have started working again so balancing that and my little man means my blog gets pushed aside. I had some time this morning while he was having his nap and found this stunning house in Switzerland by Felber Szélpal Architekten. I am a bit obsessed with gorgeous houses at the moment!
